Parks are not just supposed to be a mere piece of green land carved out in residential areas rather it is a well-kept area that needs to be nurtured regularly and should have facilities of public utility. However, things are not the same at D block area in Ranjit Avenue, where parks and green belt areas are found to be in pathetic state.
The green belts are in a shabby condition, while the condition of most of the parks is pitiable with pavements broken and excessive growth of weed and congress grass, covering even benches and swings.
